Volunteer Program

Most of the work that has been done on behalf of Equifava to date has been donated by individuals who wanted to see Equifava become a reality. There is still much to be done in many areas, and Equifava is seeking individuals to contribute their time and effort in a wide variety of projects.

Research and Documentation

One of the most important functions of the Equifava project is the sourcing and documentation of existing films and videos. If you would like to be part of our film and video research volunteer team, you'll become part of a unique group searching the far corners of the world for horse-related film and video content for cataloging and archiving on Equifava.

Translators, Marketing, Legal and News Reporters

Equifava also needs foreign language speakers/writers fluent in "cross-over" horse terminology for translation, pro bono legal and accounting assistance and horse-savvy, proficient computer users who can assist in marketing the vision of Equifava on the Internet and helping to get the word out to equestrian communities around the world.

Equifava will also need "news stringers" (reporters) both in this country and others to capture newsworthy events and happenings on video.

The PegasusTV.org archive online portal has user-friendly, easy to understand instructions for uploading videos and text. The software enables users to contribute their own educational and informative videos to the KnowledgeBarn archive database.

There are many other kinds of services and help that Equifava will need now and in the future that haven't even been thought of yet -- so we welcome your input at all levels.
